Peter has a background in the former Knowledge Centre on Gender Equality and was later employed at the Danish Research Centre on Gender Equality, Roskilde University. He holds a masters degree in political science from Aarhus University and he has also accomplished one year as a gender graduate at Linköping University. Peter has longstanding experiences as a volunteer in the Danish National Organisation for Gay Men, Lesbians, Bisexuals and Transgendered persons and was for serveral years a member of the Equal Treatment Committee at Danish Institute for Human Rights. He has worked extensively with diversity and anti-discrimination issues.
