Minority and majority relations in a multicultural society could be related to religion, ethnicity, national background or indigenous groups. The aim of this conference is to analyse and discuss the impact of gender and class on the formation of minority and majority relations. Focus will be both on symbolic representations, social relations and structural organization.

Razack, Professor at the Department of Sociology and Equity Studies in Education and Birte Siim, Professor at Institute for History, International and Social Studies Aalborg University.
