Call for applications

NIKK spade symbolThe 2017 call for applications for funding from the Nordic Gender Equality Fund will open 1 March 2017! The Nordic Council of Minister’s Gender Equality Fund finances projects in which at least three organisations from at least three Nordic countries collaborate to promote gender equality. Around 40 projects have been granted funding since 2013. The projects result in everything from educational material to policy proposals and new Nordic networks.

For the period 2015–2018, the Nordic co-operation programme for gender equality gives special attention to gender equality in the public space, welfare and innovation and sustainable development with a focus on diversity and men’s and boys’ active participation in the gender equality work. Gender equality in working life is a prioritised theme in the 2017 call for applications. This means that projects related to these themes will be given priority in the assessment of applications.

You will find the application form in the menu to the left during the 1-31 of March. Remember to read the guidelines as well as the Nordic co-operation programme for gender equality 2015-2018 when you work with your application. They contain important aspects that you should address. A few examples of things to remember:

  • Make sure that your application includes information on if/how the project is related to the prioritised themes. Gender equality in working life is a prioritised theme in the 2017 call for applications, along with other areas stated in the Nordic co-operation programme for gender equality.
  • Make sure that the project plan clarifies the role of the respective organisations that cooperate within the project.
  • Make sure to submit a clear budget with all items stated in DKK in Excel format
